A misty morning in the mountains.

"I can feel a rhythm developing. It’s wake up, pack up, hike. There are various times to get water and to rest and eat. Then more hiking and finally stopping. Then pitch the tent, make dinner, hang the food bag from a tree limb. Try to sleep. Then this whole process is repeated. The hours and miles go by in a slow motion blur. The mornings seem to go easier and faster. The afternoons can be long and very tiring. My feet and legs ache at day’s end."
